Altar Care is "behind-the-scenes" ministry that is very important for our weekend worship services. Preparation for Holy Communion, changing hymn boards, and the other tasks associated with this ministry require willing hands and some minor instruction.  Contact Cheryl Brandt, 734-459-4115 for more information or to volunteer. 

Making bread for communion is a holy calling done for the glory of the Lord.  If you are interested in making bread used for communion, please call Ron Sobson at (734)464-7687 for more information.  No experience necessary.

Are you a new member of St. Michael?  Do you enjoy meeting and greeting new people?  Are you enthusiastic and cheerful?  A very easy way to plug-in to the St. Michael family is by becoming a greeter at one of our regular worship services.  Contact Bob Frye at 734-397-2645.

All mothers of young children, we would like to invite you to join us this fall to experience all that MOPS has to offer – fellowship, learning, support and hot breakfast. MOPS is an acronym for “Mothers of Preschoolers”, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. We celebrate motherhood, make connections, develop relationships and discover resources all done to the glory of Jesus Christ.

MOPS meets from 9:00 am – 11:30 am on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from October through May. Childcare is provided. Registration is required. If you are interested in joining this wonderful group, please contact Diana Collins (Coordinator) at 734-667-1267.

The Worship and Music Committee meets monthly and is always open to new members and visitors.  At St. Michael there are many opportunities to become involved through both Worship and Music, participate in fellowship, and grow in your relationship with God.  You can volunteer your time and talents as an Usher, Greeter, Teller, Audio/Visual Operator, Pew Care Volunteer, or with any of our various music ministries.

Senior Choir meets on Thursdays at 7:30 pm in the Chapel.  We sing seasonally Sept.-June each year.  All voices welcome (especially men!).  Ages 14 and up.  Questions?  Call Pr. A lay, caring ministry in which one person reaches out to another in time of need or crisis. Offer encouragement and friendship. An outgoing helping relationship in which people who need help get help.  Contact Pr. Drex about this ministry, 734-459-3333.

Ushers are needed at all services.  If you regularly attend one of our worship services and are interested in joining an usher team, contact Pr. Church van drivers provide a wonderful ministry to many of our members with transportation needs.  No CDL license is required to drive one of our 15-passenger church vans.  A willing heart to help others with this need is all that is needed.  Contact Pat Lukasik for more information at 734-981-1848.
