St. Michael Lutheran Church is devoted to following Jesus' "Great Commission" ( Matthew 28:19 ), which tasks us with spreading the Gospel of Jesus our Lord and Savior to all people. We aim to provide a warm, comfortable, and encouraging environment for all to grow in a faith based on sound Biblical teachings.

What Are Your Services Like?
We have four regular services per week: two follow a traditional Lutheran liturgy, one is more contemporary with a stronger emphasis on praise songs, and another is somewhere in the middle. All songs and other congregational participation is displayed on large screens at the front of the sanctuary, or may be found in books and pamphlets in each pew. Visitors are not expected to take part in tithing. Dress is casual. Communion occurs at least twice a month depending on which service you attend. Please see the service schedule for service times, types, and the regular communion schedule.
Do You Have a Nursery?
We encourage kids to participate in any of our worship services and most regular services provide activity sheets for coloring. Speakers are located in the Narthex so that those who need to step out for a moment can still hear the service. Nursery care is also available for infants and toddlers at the 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM Sunday morning services. If your attention is needed, your child's name will be written on a white board located at the front of the sanctuary.
Volunteers to serve in the nurseries are always needed. Contact Kathy Bonno, 734-664-6699, to sign up.
How Accessible Are You?
Our main entryway is covered with a heated walkway, and the church and sanctuary are accessible through large double doors with no steps. There is plenty of room at the end of pews for wheelchairs or other equipment without blocking the aisles. Please see an usher for any special needs such as receiving communion from the pew or hearing devices. Pew Bibles are available in large print, and all songs are displayed on large screens at the front of the sanctuary. Rides may be requested to the 9:30 or 11:00 Sunday morning services through the church office. Sermons are also available for listening on the web site.
Can Visitors Participate in Communion?
We welcome all to the Lord's table who believe that Jesus is their personal savior. Please see the service schedule for communion days.
